Yes, Ma'am

So I get to Shirl's today and there's a 2" leather belt in her hand- and she's kind of keeping a beat with it - I know I'm late, Ma'am, yes, right away Ma'am.

Then she told me it's for her exercise - alrighty then- goof off time, ha,ha.

Anyway, we did arrive late so Robin fed us supper - good trade off. Shirl stood by the computer(thanks, Elaine) and quickly skimmed thru her email and the blog. It was sure nice for her to be able to read all the well wishes from you ladies.

Well, another wild Saturday night at our house- how do we keep up??

So I thought we best be prepared when Shirl gets on her computer again! She's getting antsy to be up and around and back on her computer. That little item will be smoking in no time - hurry back, Shirl!

The Back Breaker!

Finally showing you guys the pics of the pool bed I have been working on - It's cleared now but I still have to shake that sod off and plant my perennials.

Master (&Mrs.!) Bedroom!

Our master bedroom is large enough - I love certain things about it. We had it painted it a very soft green in Oct. 02 and had cream moldings put in. For several weeks we just lay on the bed to enjoy our "new" retreat!

Our bedroom is multifunctional if that's a word! We have a TV, VCR. DVD player, stereo system and a lovely book case stuffed to the hilt! Even have a bed with bedding - I know it's sounding like we do everything except sleep there.

My Man and I have enjoyed listening to music or reading - especially after a long day at work.

Our kids would pile on the bed and watch hockey with us or talk- and they were always welcome. I know some couples feel the room is off limits but our feeling it was "ours" meaning to share with our family. One touching memory was when Dad flew to NS for a 2 week holiday - we saw him off at the airport and then the kids and I and our shepherd! and our 2 nieces, all piled on the bed to console each other.

Touch Wood!

Ever since Mark came home I have been sleeping 11 to 12 hours. He would go to bed at 10:30pm so we did, also. After several days, it seems it have ingrained in me. It is so wondereful that I'm afraid to even talk about it!

Canucks are playing tonight so my Man is happy.

We spent 4 hours with Shirl again and she is doing extremely well. Yeah Shirl!

Wacky Womens Club

A bit back, we formed the Wacky Womens Club - membership is still limited but then, really, who would want to say they are charter members of such a club.

I had an idea - are you ladies interested in "releasing" birth dates so we could wish each other well on our "special" day?? I really suggested this (Trish) as I need more BD in April", ha,ha!

So, just month and day, to keep everyone at sweet ol' 39. I'm still puzzled about the numbers Shirl told me to punch in the calculator.
