I know, Christmas was just a bit ago but I like to plan ahead! My sister and I have a tradition every November - dinner at our favorite restaurant and then go to our favorite Christmas ornament shop. We buy each other ornament gifts each year.
We were talking tonight and decided we have enough ornaments. We are buying interesting stuff to a total around $20. from thrift shops! Interesting glassware, etc. or ornaments but all has to be "ah, gently used". Merry Christmas- oh, BTW, tomorrow is March 1st.

Two "wackos" feeding off each other -said in themost loving way, ha,ha.
I LOVE that idea! I have found some of the best one-of-a-kind stuff at the thrift store! I have a few friends who are wacky like us who would love this idea also! Just browsing through all the stuff is half the fun -- like a treasure hunt - but you never know exactly what you're looking for!
I have an idea, Trish! If you find treasures for someone, lets all post the pics at Christmas to see who "spent their money best". I am making a package for Shirl and will do that- I think we'd be surprised at what we find.
Hi: My sister in Ontario and I have been exchanging Garage Sale Finds at Christmas for the past few years. We have come up with some really crazy and interesting items. Maybe we'll have to do the Thrift Store thing this year. I belong to a Red Hat group and some of our members are always heading into Saskatoon or PA to find red hats and purple outfits to wear. Happy shopping.
