Cabin Fever vs. Spring Fever
Lovely thinking of spring, flowers and gardens. This heliotrope(on the sidebar) was in my pot at the entry door last year. It grew to be quite large and showy. Anyway, going to list the seeds I need and the seeds I "want" . $$$$$$ But it makes your life beautiful and fun to watch the stuff grow. This was taken later in 06 I was trying to shelter the plants by the dryer vent. They lasted well into October! But I had to dry a lot of clothes ~

What an inviting doorway...it
certainly says welcome. My tulips and hyacinths have all poked throughthe earth. Cannot wait for
the garden to awake...
Your brother's home looks lovely ...
We're still snowy here- My tulips in the back should be peeking thru soon - a "precious" little animal got all my daffies and tulips in the front bed- 22' x 24" - gone! But, I guess they weren't hungry after that!
Yeah, that house is special- I think in design, like yours with 3 floors and a basement?
Yes, three stories, a victorian
farmhouse, with basement,,,although
not suited for any sort of renovation. High ceilings,
crown moulding, hardwood floors
(even in the closets!!!). The upstairs we finally finished...
tried to be very faithful to the
integrity of the house....but
added youth with colour other than
white to the walls. Hopefully
the kitchen will be done soon,
as we are awaiting company from
B.C..
May 4 visit? Just joking.
Love your beautiful plants and doorway. I miss being in the Kelowna area come this time of year. One house that we housesat had beautiful bulbs planted that seemed to be a steady blooming, one variety after another. We enjoyed them so much. Usually we would arrive home (Saskatchewan) to snow in early April. It will be a couple of months until I see any sign of my tulips.
Enjoy your blogs. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, Elaine. Hate to tell you our snow is gone except for patches.
