Got to take pics of my "efforts " in the perennial bed- it's about 30' long and 6' wide - and full of weeds and grass! Anyway, have just a small patch left to dig out. Then I'm going to mulch it with 6 layers of newspaper and a top dressing and hope everything dies.
Years ago it was full of ferns, hostas, astilbe, coral bells Lily of valley, etc. The yard is actually too large for me.

I know how you feel, my yard is getting the best of me I think. Don't want to move tho, so will have to find some help. Mine is still under a foot of snow tho, so I have a bit of time to find someone. The pictures you post are really nice. I enjoy pictures at any time.

Thank, Elaine. Will yo uplant a garden? I'm glad you'll get help - it's sure expensive here. My guy is nice but did a so-so job of the one bed- I just was happy he di dthe trees, etc.Still a foot of snow- how well I remember. Take care.
