So all that is left in my perennial bed is Mom's rose - well, Shirl bot it for me in remembrance. It is a very unique color like the one pictured. Sad to say, even all my lily of the valley are dug up - you either clear or not, right? I tried to find the hostas and ferns but gave up and everything is in a pile drying out.
Soon as computer son has my spanking new system up and running, will load all the pics I have taken. But he's not arriving til Friday night and we buy on Saturday ~~ my shakes are returning!

Hi. Just wanted to mention that the picture of the roses you had for your wedding is beautiful. We had the same color of roses, but since it was a Feb. wedding, and a scarcity of florists here at that time, mom and I made them from that same colored crepe paper, it was colored differently on each side. I thought they were beautiful.
Aw, that is so touching- I have never seen them used at a wedding. My bridesmaids wore dusty gold gowns so they were a perfect choice. You brought back memories about creper paper flowers- we used to make sweatpeas - Shirl and I were just talking about that recently. Thanks, Elaine!
Creper paper???What? How about "crepe" Paper? My finger usually don't work, Elaine.
