I Yam What I Yam


So just steamed up the last 4 yams (or sweet potatoes- the orange ones).I have one that I kept hoping to let it sprout and plant it -I think our weather is too cool here but we'll see what happens.

If you like a twist with yams, steam them and then toss in salsa with cooking onions. I usually add chicken breasts. Bake about 1-1 1/2 hours. Delicious. If there is any sauce leftover, it's yummy on rice.

I never thought of doing yams like your recipe, but it sounds delicious. I will have to try it out when I get uptown to buy some yams.
