Know Your Stuff - for insurance

I've started to take dig pics of our interior and will do the exterior also. This site seemed worth checking into, to me.

I took several pictures of the interior of our home three years alo and have them in a safety deposit box at the CU.I did this after a friend was telling us that after their home was destroyed by fire, the insurance people wanted an itemized list of everything in their house, along with the purchase price and replacement price. IT is hard to remember just what all was in the china cupboard, etc. without pictures.
