Sleep Country Drivers Rock!

We often sit here discussing how 99% of the people in the world are kind and helpful. Well, the guys who delivered our new bed went above and beyond yesterday. They got here expecting a 10 minute job and were 45 minutes in total.

The headboard had been screwed on and the frame - well, it wasn't. It was 6 separate castor's - each with 4 screws! Initially there was a distinct grumble I discerned and didn't blame the guy. They are on a tight schedule and our stop must have wrecked havoc with their day. After apologizing and saying the salesman typed in that it was not "straight forward" and why - they looked and me and the work order - no notes by him! I watched him type it! Whatever happened didn't transfer for these guys. Maybe he thought a surprise was better.

Anyway, I gave them each $10. for their efforts and said go to Tin Horton's and have a coffee on us.

As they were leaving, the one guy looked at the truck/camper and said."I guess you'll be firing that up soon" - "No, not this year, we're selling it". Hopefully today he will be back and buy it - it's his day off.

Hope he comes back to buy it! Glad you got your new bed. That was nice of the guys to help you and nice of you to tip them so generously!
