Swiffer

So life has changed being Shirl is mobile- got to keep the house Swiffered! She introduced me to them a long while ago and I forgot about them - was kind of stored with the broom and the vacuum! Anyway, today I saw a cobweb and wondered how I'd get it when the (Swiffer) light went on.

I have never"dusted" my walls in my life, but taking a page from Shirl, ran the Swiffer over the main bath walls and the kitchen - if you are sitting down, I'll tell you about it! Well, I could see no dust or darkness to the Swiffer cloth after the bathroom- thought it may be really dusty from the vent and towels, etc. The hall also was good. Now the kitchen - it's a country kitchen so excuse me if I get worn out keeping it spiffy! anyway, I digress - the entry area was good, table & cooking area not dusty but the wall separating the living room and kitchen was dusty.

Another mystery in my life - anyway, thought I'd run it over the floor to "use it up" and that was very interesting. Have you checked out the dust bunnies under your fridge and stove recently??Oh, my - - my stuff was last moved for Christmas -as if I were worried Santa would check around.

Remnants of Christmas dinner between the fridge and stove????
LOLOLOL!!!!!
Ray, will tell everyone how awful it is to live at our house. Shoes
must be removed at the door, do not enter the living room in garden
work clothes, etc. I grew up in a
German household where clean meant
clean. When my mother used to visit me in Calgary, I panicked for
a week before, and then set in to
putzing the entire house. My children almost dreaded the arrival of Oma and Opa....
You know the old saying,,,,you become more like your mother as you age...... LOL

You just reminded me that I have a swiffer in the basement, guess I should get it out and dust my walls, that is what I bought it for. Thanks for the reminder.

Isn't Shirl a terrible influence on us? She guilts me into Swiffering.
Ah, in the basement - mine was well hidden in the garage.
