A Doggie (Turkey) Bag to Go!

Well, we don't waste any time! We've had our turkey dinner with one "to go". Delicious, as usual. My Hon is lying on the bed - just like Christmas dinner aftermath.

Now I have to come up with something special for Sunday evening dinner.

Have a great evening everyone. Today was better for me. Life got pretty intense yesterday - sorting my Hon's tools and then hearing of the finding of Kelsey's remains. I don't know the family but these news stories really hit me hard. I suppose its my "emotional" state, too. But in the end, it makes me appreciate Life and realize that someone is always having a more difficult time than I am. At least I have him to hold, unlike Kelsey's family.

I think when one has experienced tragedy first-hand, the tragedy of others seems to hit harder and affect us deeper -- even if we have never been through that exact circumstance, pain and loss are emotions that sometimes cannot be compared or verbalized, but simply empathized.
