Again tonight our town was inundated with a rain storm - My Hon looked out and saw our neighbor bailing water so we got into high gear - I dug 2 trenches about 4" deep to divert the water to our back yard and they did the "bucket brigade" thing. The Mr. arrived home and helped get things under control.
These are veritable rain storms with thunder and lightning and I am not shy to say I was very afraid out there.

Sounds like a great day...For a duck! Sorry you've had so much rain -- wish we would get some of that! Nice of you to help the neighbors.
We were so soaked we had a difficult time getting our jeans and soxs off.Then right into a nice hot bath and shower. Both had rain jacket with hoods but even our t-shirts were glued to us!
Today Brenda brought gifts as a thank you - sweet neighbors.
