This afternoon I spent about 2 hours going through some of my Hon's tools. It was very touching and upsetting at the same time. So many remembrances of his skilled hands - woodworking hands. After washing all the stuff, I sorted it and made packages up. Then I grabbed a notebook to write everything down. And I took digitals of it all - the most touching item was his carpenters pencil - it really raked my heart. It got promoted from the tool box to my memory box.
Came upstairs to check for developments on Kelsey and no, no, no! Her body had been found. Nausea and anger waved over me at the same time. I phoned Shirl.
My own heartache erased by the families' loss. Puts it all in perspective. As usual. Someone is always hurting way more than I.
I am so sorry for the loss of your most beautiful daughter/ sister/ friend. Deepest Sympathies.
