Monday, Monday - - - and Missy the Duck

A friend picked us up to go walking by "our lake". What a day, beautiful and mellow with a warm breeze.

Took pictures, got a couple reflections I like. We had one little tame duck who visited with us, hoping we had treats. One end of the lake was full of minnows. I tried to capture a huge, long spider web with my digital but, Santa, I need a more powerful lens:) I'm going to check but not sure if it will show.

We have named her "Missy" - she was so cute and trustful.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Monday.

Thank you for reminding me that I must find the instruction booklet for my camera and to sit down and really study it.
I am so jealous of all the wonderful photographers that I have found since I started blogging.
I know what I have to do is practice practice practice.

We spent the week on the shoreline of Corpus Christi with crowds of young people. The waves were choppy and while the views were nice, I think I prefer the quiet calm of a lake.

I just adore you! I may never meet you this side of heaven, but I want you to know that you are so special to me and to GOD.

When I wonder what in the world was I thinking in doing a blog - what could I possibly have to say that anyone would care about - you drop by and check on me.

GOD uses special people like you to show those of us who have those moment of doubt they are thought of. I know HE uses you.

I am thankful for a friend like you!
Blessings,love and prayers,
Teri
