Gobble, gobble

So a few days ago I went to Merle Norman studios to have my makeup "done" and supposedly learn how to transform my face. (Insert chuckle here)

The young lady was gracious and instead of noting my eyelids now rest on my nose, referred to my "deep set eyes". After several times it wore a bit thin but the truth hurts:)

When I paid for my purchases she told me that the studio was offering a gift bag with purchase. Inside were lovely items such as lipstick, blush, mascara and "neck and face" cream. I guess it was to treat my turkey neck which is close to the deep set eyes:)

Anyway, it was a generous size sample product so I applied it generously every morn and evening - it works! Still have the wrinkly turkey neck but I no longer gobble.

Thank you, Merle Norman!

I had to take a deep breath, because it sounds like you're describing the way I look......the joys of aging, but I don't like the alternative.

Your so cute!!! I'm so glad you aren't gobbling, but if that neck cream works, I want some too!

Oh, it's fun doing stuff like that. And at this age we can afford to splurge a bit. I remember as a teen saving and saving my babysitting money to buy a nailpolish or lip gloss.

I find as the seasons change I go and check out skin care; seems like a good time to go and the harsh climate we live in really ages our skin.

I never see Merle Norman stores anymore. That used to be the favorite makeup and the demonstrations left me looking like a street walker but I loved it anyway. Glad you cured the gobble:)

I never go there because they expect you to buy products after they make you over. The nerve! lol

Oh Lordy! This was a cool posting. I despise my turkey neck, and my once big eyes have shrunk to pea size. I don't mind getting older, but looking older really ticks me off!
