So, I wonder Who hates me. Since Monday at 7:30am, I have had diarrhea and extreme,even projectile, vomiting.
There's got to be a conspiracy against me by Someone, I think.
Actually, as of 5:30pm tonight, I have been "free and clear" but am holding my breathe. It's been brutal, electrolytes out of whack, so weak I could barely function. Tis under control.
Haven't had a coffee since Sunday (!)and also very limited intake of food - if I never see certain items again it will be too soon. So, that's why I haven't been reading or posting.
It can only get better for me in 2011 - - - I hope.

When you it bottom there is no pace to go but up and you've definitely been at the bottom of the health problem pit. I would say "this too shall pass" but with your condition that probably is not appropriate:)

I have had one of those problems, and since I seldom vomit, you can guess which one I am referring to. I hope that we are both well very soon!!
Try clear liquids only, and cook white rice and eat it with some sugar and drink the water it was cooked in.
It could be, that your body has decided that you need to take care of yourself for a while or something. Your immune system is saying, enough, enough!! Good heavens what misery...hope your jeans won't fall off once you're through with all of this. It does seem as if there is some kind of conspiracy against you as of late!!

Had both during one of my hospital stays for back surgery. I am brand new here and I have to find out what all was DONE TO YOU after your fall. I'm a firm believer in conspiracies. Except that the Gods are out to get ME, not you. IN seriousness now, it sounds as if times were already challenging enough, so this? May recovery set in very, very soon. The projectile part... my late surgeon once told me that the WHOLE body goes into shock when there is a body trauma: falls, surgery, broken bones. I had a tendency to try to hard to move too soon when I was going through the early operations. He said, "If your body says don't MOVE, DON'T. And when it says DON'T EAT, Don't."
Don't know whether he was right or wrong, but it sounded right. Take care of YOU, while you are--from what I gather--taking care of others. ALl the best, a new visitor.
I do hope you are feeling better by now.....do try to drink the fluids....
