So, have you had yours? Went yesterday on my way to visit Hubby - took only minutes in line and to get "shot".

If you oppose 'flu shots, why? People have valid concerns - would be interested to hear yours.

Yes, I've had mine. All I know is that I had the flu a couple of times before I started flu shots--but I also had pneumonia three times and bronchial pneumonia I have no idea how many times. Since starting ONE medication and an annual flu shot, for the last five years, I've had two colds, an done three day intestinal something.

Maybe it is coincidence, but I don't think so. It was the first time in about 15 years I had no upper respiratory infection. And my own immune system, perhaps, could rebuild.

BUT, that said, I realize that my experience may not be other people's. My doctor does not prescribe the vaccine to everyone, and he is not quick to prescribe antibiotics... I trust my DO and am lucky to have him.

Jean, thanks for visiting recently. I came to this post daed Oct. 26 and thought, "Whew. Good news."

Been away from blogging for a long time because life does get in the way. I'll be back sometime in 2012. See? Can't even set a date. :D

Hugs,
