Trish's Challenge
So I printed off Trish's notes for Lesson 1 and 2 - learning to play the piano.
Years ago my friend and her husband were going to China as missionaries - she commented she'd have to sell her piano - which used to belong to her Grandma. I bought her piano. Being it was so special, I told her she could have it back at any time for what I paid her.
Have to take pics of it - especially for Trish!
I cannot even play chopsticks, so under the Christmas tree that year was a selection of "beginner" how to play the piano books - earplugs for all.
Anyway, I learned how to play "Oh, Danny Boy" and "Star Spangled Banner"! Still can't do chopsticks. Now my interest is revived seeing Trish's lessons. Can't believe in the year I have been retired, I have not even opened my piano.

Open up that piano sis, start practising, then we expect a recital.
Well, we have the earplugs~
OOOOOOOhhhhh, how exciting!!! I would love to see a pic of your piano! I am rather behind in the posting of piano lessons, but I will get going with that again next week, especially since I know you will be playing! I will restore the link to Joyful Melodies from my blog, so it's easier to find! Music is a wonderful gift! I am so happy that you have a piano!
No rush for a new lesson on "my" account, Trish. I'm still mastering g,f,e,d,c!It's so much easier the other way ~ anyway, I will post a pic- it's a lovely piano I guess because "Grandma" owned it previously.Has a few nicks but I hope to get those fixed.
