Lovely pictures. Makes me lonesome for BC. Nice here today - plus 15 so I did the walk around the block, that usually takes me 20 minutes, so will be thinking of you tomorrow when I do my 20 min. I may go a bit longer, as I intend to increase the time each day. Enjoy your walk.
What a lovely view to walk around. My path takes me on the highway a wee bit, then up a country road past an old cemetary that was established in l872 and further up the road to a farm that signals it is time to turn back home. A total of 5.25 miles. In the early, early spring, the crocuses smile at me, then the little wild violets, then Queen Annes Lace and flowers that resemble fireweed, then Goldenrod. So all year, save the dead of winter, there are lovely wild flowers for me to admire.
Wow - 5 miles! I'm impressed. We used to do 3 miles a few years ago!Your walk sounds pretty - the track is a bit boring but I plan meals, life and sing to myself. They are building a condo by the track and I always hope I keep it low enough that the workers don't hear me, ha.Maybe that's why they have those "doies" over their ears - and they are painting!
Ray, a couple of years ago had to pull in the stops....rich eating, no exercise, and lots of sweets. Hence, the exercise program....a very brisk power walk that has evolved into the 5 plus miles has become a routine for us for life. I have had to change my way of cooking. It is no secret that I love to cook up a storm but in order to keep hubby healthy I have changed my style. When we have company, however, all the stops go by the wayside and even Ray is allowed to indulge then.
