So when I put the house back together I'm thinking of streamling it. Not exactly minimalist but for me, it would be.
When our sons come home, I'll let them pick over stuff but they probably already have all they want.
The work is not done so I can think and plan:)
What kind of house do you live in? Minimalist or what style?

Minimalist...Ha! That's funny...well, not when it pertains to you -- but when I think about my house...minimalist would descibe the amount of empty space available in my house. I love my house, but it is nowhere near set up how I would like it to be! I have dreams....that maybe one day I would have a place for everything and everything in it's place...hey, a girl can dream, can't she? Actually, I'm saving it all up (the organizing) for when you come to visit :-)
That's OK by me, Trish. Sounds like I'll have to book a long, long visit:)Actually, anyone reading my entry must be rolling on the floor as my house is full! But, after clearing it for the reno, I like the look. Well, I'll put some chairs back!
I am having the same thoughts as we redo the kitchen. I boxed up everything just as if we were moving. I am thinking that many of those boxes are going into storage, and not getting unboxed!! I know we can live with less!!!
