Today I continued to organize my walk in closet. I have too many clothes!!!

Wayne custom built shelves and extra rods so I have 4 rods for short items. There is a second closet in our bedroom which "houses" my dressy clothes and I use part of the guest room closet.

You see, I have a problem - I never buy an item unless I absolutely love it. Needless to say, I've loved a lot of clothes over the years. Smiled when I read somewhere that you have to give away one item for every new one. What??!!!

Actually, I think I'll try to get rid of some stuff but it's going to hurt:)

How about you? Are you a clothes junkie?

I'm facing (rather, putting off) a similar "chore" -- having to release items that no longer fit. Unfortunately, there are more than a few which hold oh-such-sweet(!!!) memories.
Wonder why I can't just be content to remember them through photos?

My opinion - since you are able to keep and enjoy them all at this point, why not? Instead of tossing the clothes, try tossing the guilt. You aren't hurting anyone after all. Enjoy! Sheila

I 'need' to go through my closet and give away a lot of clothes. Unfortunately I've gained weight, and so many of mine are too tight. I keep thinking/hoping I'll be inspired to lose some weight, but I don't think it's going to happen.

I am in exactly the same predicament as Delores. I need to clean out too, but I harbor the hope that I'll lose weight and be able to wear my favorites again. I know it won't happen.

I'm better about clothes than books, but there's still room to shed in the closet. Stopped by via Corgidog's Mama.
