limp seed onions? What is stumping me is the metal fence or gride that is on the ground. Hmmmm

I thought you would get this right away with your gardening expertise.It's a pretty pathetic looking asparagus plant. To me it resembles dead sea life or a huge bug, yuck!

Oh,I use the green fencing to prevent cats from using my nice new beds as their toilet.The little plants just make their way up around the wire. I also use it in my green and yellow bean bed to support the plants.

Believe it or not....I told Ray to
have a good look at it, and even
said....limp asparagus. He planted
our asparagus and said no....looked
more like limp onion sets.

Give him a hard time Jean...will
let him read this ....LOL

good idea re the cats....our trouble is not with cats, except that they urinate on our plants,
we have some very aggressive squirrels who have actually chomped
off the lower branches of our
Barberry shrubs....they have
some very sharp needles...

Ray has never seen such pitiful asp. plants!
