I'm getting itchy feet and fingers. I'm craving gardening again. A bit tough as we probably have 12" or more of snow yet. But, I'm going to buy my seeds this week. I buy tomato plants but seed the rest.

Anyone else in the mood to garden?

Here I am ... back again. After having an awful experience when trying to comment here. Eeeek! ,-)

I guess the easiest way to tell you is to {try to} leave a click-able link to my blog. I've put up a couple of entries, just now, about this mess I got myself into.

Anyway, I was trying to say that you are not alone in wanting planting season to be here. I'm not a gardener, but lots of gals are. And are sharing your longing.

I know it will be 2 months until I can even hope to see my spring bulbs come up, so I try not to think about gardening too much yet. But the snow should be gone before April...

You give me hope! Do you truly believe that winter will end eventually? If you believe, then I will too! This year we will have a BIG garden. Looking forward to it.

I can't wait to get my hands dirty in the garden! It's a true passion of mine. Don't know why I live in the frozen north!!!
I have tulips and daffodils smiling in the sunshine of my south-facing kitchen windowsill. I just have to buy spring flowers in the winter. They really cheer up the kitchen and I can satisfy my plant-longing for a while.

BTW - Walmart is a great place to buy spring flowers to place on the windowsills of your house or table tops or wherever. They are unexpensive and good quality. I think I paid about $4.00 for a pot of lovely red tulips - the same for my singing daffodils (yes, I really do think flowers sing, and talk to each other and no, I'm not nuts - really.)
Love your blog, JeanMac.

Morning everyone and welcome, Wendy.
When I got up this morn and the frost was so thick it looked like snow, I think it will be a while yet. Good tip about Wal-Ma*t - have to check out their singing tulips:)
