Hope I'm not offending anyone - this is just personal opinion. I don't like to dress in matching jackets, etc. with my man. The only time I agreed was when we ordered our flying club jackets and our Corvette club jackets.

He neither flies or races anymore but sometime will wear his Vette jacket as it's a warm bomber style. His flying jacket is "no more". I saved the patches and have been going to mount them in a frame for him.

Both my jackets have been put away - I may turf mine as they have names, etc, embroidered on them.

Pitiful post - - -

I'm glad we're of the same opinion. The thought of matching clothing within a couple (or a family) brings up thoughts of elderly folks on cruise ships or in rest homes - scary! Enjoy being yourself. :-)

Hey, welcome! How are things down there. My brother used to spend time in Auckland - loved it.

Oh I agree with you on this one.
Never have had matching anything with my spouse.

I am so glad you said this. I told Ron before we married that we would NEVER wear matching clothes. Everytime we see a couple in matching outfits, he will say, "That will never be us."

I don't believe your jackets count as matching outfits. I can see us both in the same tractor jacket:-)

Grrrrrrrrrrreat post!

It brings back memories of an older couple around town. She always dressed them alike, if possible. Even to matching summer fedoras. Eeeek! :-)
