(1) When weeding or picking, wear long sleeve shirt - my arms are all scratched/itchy from everything.

(2) If you have lots of zucchini and tomatoes, add onions and run thru the food processor, bring to a boil, fill freezer safe jars and/or Zip*ock bags. I don't add spices until I decide which dish I'll use it in.

(3) Keep up with your weeding - I didn't, so have equal weeds and wanted plants. I picked beans and blanched for the freezer today.

(4) Cut all your lawns at once (even tho you don't feel like it - we now have storms ) I did all the lawns earlier.

(5) Sit with a good book and watch the storms roll by - I'm reading fiction right now.

You must try my husband's planting method. He puts down carpet and plants through holes. No weeds!

Our cherry tomatoes are just now ready and in time for our granddaughter. Hope loves tomatoes and she believes these are perfect for her.

The big tomatoes are ready for me because I love fried green tomatoes as much as I love ripe tomatoes.

We're not ready for a storm because our lawn is not completely mowed. However, we have ten acres so it's a bit much.

You are such a gardener and you forgot the First Rule Of Such?!? *Shame on you*! ,-)

Nahhh, not shame on you. Sorry for you. I hate that kind of itchy.

It "works on my head" and I feel itchy all over in places which didn't even get scratched. :-( Same thing with a bug flying around me. He need not actually bite me. I still get itchy. Bleahhhhh... lol.
